Day 10 already. I wanted to get in the kitchen this evening so I bunged on a simple outfit and made it interesting with a new scarf (bought before 30x30, don’t fret, I HAVEN’T shopped since I started.) The outfit is really all about the scarf.
Here is the fruits of my labour, lol. My apple crumble! I must say though, it doesn’t photograph well. I like to keep the topping rustic. The sugar stays in clusters and some of the lumps of butter remain in lumps, which melt during cooking. I much prefer using eating apples for crumbles, they stay in shape rather than going too mushy.
Thank you everyone for all the generous comments I received for yesterday’s post. I was in such a good mood because of you guys :)
I am hoping in the next few days/weeks to give my blog something of a facelift as it still looks very raw and unfinished. The 30x30 is keeping me posting everyday so its not happened yet, but fingers crossed I will get round to it soon.
Okay ...
ReplyDeleteBoth this dessert and your outfit are incredible looking.
