On Sunday we went to the beach. Cromer is a delightful seaside town! Here are a few shots I took with my ‘new’ bridge camera. I incidentally wore polka dot twice, my tank and plimsolls. I quite like the look anyway even though the shirt and tank seem to add bulk around my middle.
The forecast was for intermittent showers, however the sun came out and we enjoyed a lay on the beach (on our coats, so it wasn’t a wasted effort carrying them around after all). The skies did eventually open and smugly we walked back to the car in our coats and watched everyone else dash for cover. Ah, the Great British Summer!
I love the pier at Cromer with the Pavilion Theatre at the end. We’ve never actually been inside but it does seem to be quite popular. It comes complete with traditional Summer Seaside Special show. The pier itself has undergone a major facelift in the last few years.
Oh I do love to be beside the seaside, oh I do love to be beside the sea….
Pretty pretty! I love red with white polka dots! One of my favourite patterns! Cromer looks delightful! I love quinessentially British seaside towns!

I'm actually crazy about seaside piers in general. They're so romantic and sometimes have such random things on them.
