List up ladies and listen good. When winter strikes and things get cold you have to dress carefully. It’s no fun freezing your bits off and the solution really is quite simple if you are bold enough to break the mould. Thermal vests have never been cool but neither has pneumonia.
I’ve been into my vests for about 15 years and trust me, I will not be going back! Sure the white ones are the most common you find but you cab get some pretty ones too.
Here is a few from my collection.
You can also see a pair of thermal bottoms too, but be warned, these should only ever be warned on the coldest ever days because you will get seriously HOTTTTT! I haven’t warn them for two years, I've not been in a cold enough situation.
The best time to get a bargain is the end of winter. I think I got each of these for £3 each from Tesco, but they would have normally been £5-8. As they don’t deal with the washing and drying process too well they tend to last three or four years at best. Give a vest a try, or are you afraid of being warm this winter?
Do any of you wear thermals?

I love this post you make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI love vests too I wear cami's a lot under clothing also because if I wear something low cut I like to have a vest under so I don't show everything lol.
I forgot to enter your giveaway so I shall do this now.
BTW thanks for the lovely comments on my blog. Its horrible when you feel low inside. I must get around to writing to you as well. I have been on the look out for some nice writing paper though but cannot seem to find any argghh!
Take carexx
I had that black Tescos thermal vest a while back and the capri long-johns that went with it! I bought them as pajamas but didn't keep them as the top would keep rolling up into a sausage shape around my midriff, making it very uncomfortable to sleep! Thermals are a good idea- I should have worn them for their proper purpose! I still have a pair of white thermal long-johns I bought for when I went to Iceland- wore them in the snow last year- dreamily warm!!!!

ReplyDeleteI really feel the cold so swear by thermal vests, although I wear the long sleeved ones.
ReplyDeleteThis winter I got some lovely purple and pink ones from Asda and only £6 each, so I got 4 purple and 2 pink!
Hurrah for a fellow thermal lover! x
