Peas and lettuce

This recipe is based around the insanely good combination of peas and baby gem lettuce and of course some white fish.

It does look a little pink due to the bacon. The recipe can be found HERE.

Have you discovered any winning flavour combinations?

  2. It looks scrummy. Always seems odd the first time you cook with lettuce but it tastes nice.

  7. Looks delicious, peas and fish are a classic combo. I recently discovered sauteed canned white beans (cannelini or butter) + garlic + anchovy = an amazingly tasty base for so many meals. The anchovy melts in, just leaving a rich flavour. We actually just added some veg (fried onion, peas, mushrooms) and a pinch of chilli and ate it with bread the first time.
