Witness the fitness

Apologies for the lack of gorm,

It’s Friday and time for FBFF and the topic this week fitness. Oh dear.

Do you remember Operation Olympian? Nope? Well I resolved to improve my fitness. I’ve been running most weekends when I haven’t chickened out, had a faux injury or there was inclement weather and so I’ve noticed some mild improvement in stamina although I’m possibly getting shin splints. But enough about my pathetic excuses.

I really admire women who keep really fit. Strong is much more attractive than stick thin in my book. I would happily put on a stone if it was muscle. As it is, I shall have to be satisfied with keeping relatively active on a daily basis, a bit of zumba and running a little.

Happy weekend everyone.

  1. I am totally on board with seeing 'running late ' as a form of keeping fit! hehe
Strong is so much better than just thin, being thin does not necessarily mean fit and healthy.

  3. I do try to exercise regularly but I only manage about 20 minutes 3 or 4 times a week, just basic stuff like sit ups and whatever. I doubt I will get toned or lose any weight from it but it always makes me feel happier and calmer! Good old endorphins! I think you do lots more than me!

  7. Oo well done on the running! I find running so hard nowadays..i dont know how we coped with all that cross country at school..we must have been proper hard core back then hehe I stick to yoga and ministry of sound fitness dvds now. its just so hard to be motivated after a long day at work though!

  8. You look very toned to me, well done! I am terrible at exercise, I prefer manual labour like gardening or walking.

  9. Love your jacket. Keeping fit is a must in my book, whichever way that is achieved, for me it's through daily skipping, don't have the time for anything else.

  10. Oh I wish I were more fit! I do walk 40mins each day but I need to build some strength (or so the doctor who looked at my clicky shoulder said!) I always thought you seemed very fit!
